Alternative blues-soul singer ZZ Ward continues her trek across North America behind her acclaimed full-length debut, Til The Casket Drops, with her newly announced The Down and Dirty Shine Tour. This fall run of dates follows her coast-to-coast summer tour, which has included performances at some of the most anticipated music festivals this summer, including Sasquatch and Firefly, where she’s shared the stage with the likes of The Lumineers, Kendrick Lamar, Vampire Weekend, and more.
We recently were able to catch up with ZZ Ward just after her amazing performance at the Firefly Festival in Dover, DE. Ward’s performance had the crowd of over 60,000 people up and jamming to her incredibly fresh and eclectic music, definitely providing one of the most memorable performances of the weekend.
