Hard Rock/Metal band UNCURED released its powerful new anthem “TAKE ME AWAY.” Uncured is a 4-piece from New Jersey that is known for its energetic live shows, dynamic vocals, catchy riffs, and blistering guitar solos.

Rex Cox wrote “Take Me Away” during the lock-down at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. “‘Take Me Away’ is a song about the various stresses created by isolation and detachment. The song tells the story of the growing divide between a couple, and the longing for better times. Ultimately, ‘Take Me Away’ is a song of liberation, strength, and freedom. The orchestral components give the song a soaring sense of emotional release,” says Rex Cox.
