ENMARKET ARENA IN SAVANNAH SET TO OPEN
A new era of music, sports and entertainment experience is coming to the Southeast.
In partnership with the City of Savannah, the new Enmarket arena project is being led by top industry professionals —Oak View Group Facilities, Live Nation and Delaware North— that can deliver the vision of creating a first-class entertainment destination while expanding the thriving historic downtown district.
The venue will hold its ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday January 13, 2022, followed by its first event on Friday January 13, with a concert headlined by country singer Riley Green with special guests Corey Smith and Mike Ryan.
The development of a new arena and the surrounding canal district on Savannah’s westside is one of the largest projects to ever be undertaken by the City of Savannah. The new arena site presents the opportunity to redevelop the Canal District to the west of West Boundary Street, creating a vibrant new center of activity in Savannah’s core.
The new arena will is built for two main tenants, Music & Sports. It will bolster live entertainment in Southern Georgia by hosting must-see national touring concerts, family shows, comedians, and more. The 9,500 seat arena has outstanding, unobstructed views from all angles, making it a great spot to watch your favorite artist. And was designed with a 7,300 seat capacity for hockey and will be able to accommodate a crowd of 8,700 for basketball games. The venue will host an ECHL Hockey team, the Enmarket Hockey Classic and many other hockey tournaments and will usher in a new level of College and High School tournaments. The ECHL, Savannah Pro Hockey team will drop their first puck in Savannah in October 2022!
