As the inaugural Tree Town Music Festival comes to a close in Forest City, Iowa, festival organizers are already working on making 2015 even bigger and better. Following Brad’s performance, a special message played on the jumbotron with country megastar and judge on NBC’s The Voice Blake Shelton announcing himself as the headliner for the second annual Tree Town Music Festival Memorial Day weekend 2015. Stay tuned for even more exciting artist announcements in the coming months!
“The festival was a huge success,” said Gary DeWaard, Tree Town’s founder and general manager. “We plan on keeping this weekend’s momentum going into 2015 and beyond. It’s an amazing opportunity to not only provide the highest quality entertainment and camping, but to also attract thousands of people to the area, which in turn helps to support the local economy.”
Toby Keith and Chris Young played to a packed crowd at Heritage Park on Sunday as the festival came to a close. Thousands of fans descended on Forest City, Iowa, this Memorial Day weekend to catch performances by some of country music’s biggest stars, including Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, Brantley Gilbert, Chris Young, Scotty McCreery and more. The festival also featured “Little Nashville,” a stage that brought the excitement of Nashville’s world-famous Broadway to Iowa. In addition to non-stop music from multiple stages, the grounds boasted beer tents, a variety of food vendors, rock climbing, zip lines and much more.
