While summer may be unofficially over, there is still beautiful weather and time to take in another festival before the season is really over. The festival I am referring to is the Sea.Hear.Now festival, which is returning to Asbury park for it’s second year.

This years Sea.Hear.Now Festival takes place Sept. 21-22, 2019 in Asbury Park, NJ from 12pm – 10:30pm each day.

So what exactly is the Sea.Hear.Now festival? It is two days of music featuring over 25 performances on three stages. It’s also a place to watch top pro surfers catching waves along the Asbury Park shore between the two beach stages. You will also be able to see surfing demos and watch surfboard shaping. And beyond the beach, you can check out Danny Clinch’s Transparent Gallery of immersive art experiences.

The Sea.Hear.Now festival is also committed to raising awareness about the issues facing our ocean environment, including the global plastic waste crisis and climate change. Musician Jack Johnson awarded Sea.Hear.Now his ‘All At Once Sustainability Award’ for US Festivals, as a result of showing real leadership in the movement to green the music industry.

This year, you will get to see performances by Dave Matthews Band, The Lumineers, Dropkick Murphys, Dispatch, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, The B-52s, Bad Religion, The Struts and many others.

Surfers who will be participating will be Sam Hammer, Mike Gleason, Pat Schmidt, Clay Pollioni, Quincy Davis, Cassidy McClain, Autumn Hays and dozen others.

If you haven’t secured your tickets yet, do so now as they are going fast! Purchase tickets to Sea.Hear.Now festival. And once you receive your wristband, be sure to visit the Official Sea.Hear.Now website to activate your wristband to ensures a smooth process when entering the festival each day and allows you to add emergency contact info to your wristband.
